An electronic device according to various embodiments may be configured to: correct a first base image and a second base image on the basis of reference metadata to be included in an image file; obtain a third base image by combining the corrected first image and the corrected second image or correcting, on the basis of the reference metadata, an image obtained by combining the first base image and the second base image; and store an image file generated on the basis of the third base image and the reference metadata.
