Summary:Provided is an electrode assembly comprising a negative electrode structure and multiple positive electrodes. The negative electrode structure comprises first and second separators, and a lithium metal layer interposed between the first and second separators. The negative electrode structure comprises multiple stack portions and multiple folding portions. The electrode assembly has a structure in which the stack portions of the negative electrode structure and the positive electrodes are stacked alternately and successively. The negative electrode includes multiple negative electrode tabs protruding in the transverse direction compared with the first and second separators in the negative electrode structure. The number of negative electrode tabs is smaller than the number of stack portions of the the negative electrode structure by at least one. An electrode assembly according to a specific embodiment of the present invention has a reduced number of negative electrode tabs, thereby improving the productivity in following processes such as a negative electrode tab welding process.
