The present invention relates to a dental treatment unit (1) comprising: a chair (2) for seating the patient; a chair base (3) for holding the chair (2); a water tower (4) for cleaning/sanitizing dental instruments (5); a dentist's element (6) for depositing the dental instruments (5); an assistant element (7) for depositing dental instruments (5); at least one movable projector (8) for projecting images; at least one movable camera (9) for acquiring image data; a microphone (10) for acquiring acoustic data; a loudspeaker (11); and a computer (12) for controlling the projector (8), the camera (9), the microphone (10), the loudspeaker (11), and for processing the acquired image data and the acquired acoustic data, wherein the projector (8) is configured to project images onto a projection area (13), wherein the camera (9) is configured to acquire image data from the projection area (13), wherein the projection area (13) can be selectively moved in at least one of a plurality of different positions (14-20) which are defined relative to location and geometry of the chair (2), the chair base (3), the water tower (4), the dentist's element (6), and the assistant's element (7). La présente invention concerne une unité de traitement dentaire (1) comprenant : une chaise (2) pour asseoir le patient ; une base de chaise (3) pour maintenir la chaise (2) ; un réservoir d'eau (4) pour nettoyer/désinfecter des instruments dentaires (5) ; un élément de dentiste (6) pour déposer les instruments dentaires (5) ; un élément auxiliaire (7) pour déposer des instruments dentaires (5) ; au moins un projecteur mobile (8) pour projeter des images ; au moins une caméra mobile (9) pour acquérir des données d'image ; un microphone (10) pour acquérir des données acoustiques ; un haut-parleur (11) ; et un ordinateur (12) pour commander le projecteur (8), la caméra (9), le microphone (10), le haut-parleur (11), et pour traiter les données d'image acquises et les données acoustiques acquises, le projecteur (8) étant configuré pour projeter des images sur une zone de projection (13), la caméra (9) étant configurée pour acquérir des données d'image à partir de la zone de projection (13), la zone de projection (13) pouvant être sélectivement déplacée dans au moins l'une d'une pluralité de positions différentes (14-20) qui sont définies par rapport à l'emplacement et à la géométrie de la chaise (2), de la base de chaise (3), du réservoir d'eau (4), de l'élément de dentiste (6) et de l'élément auxiliaire (7).
