Disclosed as an example is a secondary battery comprising: an electrode assembly; a case in which the electrode assembly is accommodated; a cap plate which seals the top of the case and includes a vent hole having a safety vent formed therein; and a rotating member which is coupled to the bottom of the vent hole.
