A surgical instrument for harvesting an organ includes a surgical tool and a handle. The handle includes an actuator rotatable about an actuator pivot pin and a cam connected to the actuator and rotatable in tandem with the actuator. The surgical instrument further includes an actuator rod having a distal end connected to the surgical tool and a proximal end connected to the cam. The cam defines a slot which captures a portion of the actuator rod. The portion of the actuator rod captured in the slot is slidable within the slot as the cam rotates. Sliding of the portion of the actuator rod in the slot actuates the surgical tool. Instrument chirurgical permettant de prélever un organe comprenant un outil chirurgical et une poignée. La poignée comprend un actionneur pouvant tourner autour d'une broche de pivot d'actionneur et une came reliée à l'actionneur, pouvant tourner en tandem avec l'actionneur. L'instrument chirurgical comprend en outre une tige d'actionneur ayant une extrémité distale reliée à l'outil chirurgical et une extrémité proximale reliée à la came. La came définit une fente qui reçoit une partie de la tige d'actionneur. La partie de la tige d'actionneur reçue dans la fente peut coulisser à l'intérieur de la fente lorsque la came tourne. Le coulissement de la partie de la tige d'actionneur dans la fente actionne l'outil chirurgical.
