This communication device functions as a base station which carries out cellular transmission with respect to User Equipment (UE). Further, if the number of pieces of UE connected to the base station provided by the communication device reaches the connected number-of-pieces upper-limit, the communication device performs notification, to the outside, with respect to information indicating that the connected number-of-pieces upper-limit has been reached.
