The invention relates to a system comprising: a harness for a weaving loom and a device for monitoring the manufacture of a preform woven by the loom, the monitoring device comprising: a plurality of sensors, each sensor of the plurality of sensors being connected to one of the plurality of strings and being configured to measure a deformation of the string, the deformation being induced by a force exerted by the loom on the string to which the sensor is connected; and a processing unit connected to the plurality of sensors and configured to analyse the deformation so as to identify a manufacturing abnormality on at least one string. L'invention concerne un système comprenant : un harnais pour métier à tisser et un dispositif de surveillance de la fabrication d'une préforme tissée par le métier à tisser, le dispositif de surveillance comprenant : une pluralité de capteurs, chaque capteur de la pluralité de capteurs étant relié à une corde de la pluralité de cordes et étant configuré pour mesurer une déformation de la corde, la déformation étant induite par une force exercée par le métier à tisser sur la corde auquel le capteur est relié; et une unité de traitement reliée à la pluralité de capteurs et configurée pour analyser la déformation de sorte à identifier une anomalie de fabrication sur au moins une corde.
