Summary:A catalyst component for the polymerization of olefins comprising Ti, Mg and an internal donor selected from 1,3-diethers said solid catalyst component, being characterized by an average particle size D50 ranging from 55 to 80 µm and by a surface area (SA), determined with the BET method, such that the value of the formula SAxD50/100 is higher than (60), preferably higher than 80, more preferably higher than 100 and especially higher than 110. Un composant catalyseur pour la polymérisation d'oléfines comprenant Ti, Mg et un donneur interne choisi parmi les 1,3-diéthers, ledit composant catalyseur solide étant caractérisé par une taille de particule moyenne D50 allant de 55 à 80 µm et par une surface de contact (SA), déterminée avec le procédé BET, de telle sorte que la valeur de la formule SAxD50/100 est supérieure à 60, de préférence supérieure à 80, plus préférablement supérieure à 100 et en particulier supérieure à 110.
