Summary:A LiDAR device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a light emitting unit that generates an output light signal and irradiates same to a target area, a light receiving unit that receives an input light signal that is input after being reflected from the target area, an information generating unit that generates information about the target area by using the input light signal input to the light receiving unit, and a control unit that controls the light emitting unit, the light receiving unit, and the information generating unit, wherein the light emitting unit has a field of view (FOV) fixed in advance in a first direction, and the control unit controls an FOV of the light emitting unit in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
