The present disclosure provides a method of fabricating a sensor assembly in which a sensor surface has an anchor species provided thereon, the anchor species having a first functional group attached. The method further comprises disposing a fluid channel over the surface and subsequently providing an analyte capture species to the fluid channel. The analyte capture species comprises a second functional group configured to react with the first functional group. The surface is then exposed to photo radiation and the first and second functional groups react forming a link between the analyte capture species and the anchor species on the sensing surface. La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un ensemble capteur dans lequel une espèce d'ancrage est disposée sur une surface de capteur, l'espèce d'ancrage comportant un premier groupe fonctionnel fixé. Le procédé consiste en outre à disposer un canal de fluide sur la surface et à fournir ultérieurement une espèce de capture d'analyte au canal de fluide. L'espèce de capture d'analyte comprend un second groupe fonctionnel conçu pour réagir avec le premier groupe fonctionnel. La surface est ensuite exposée à un rayonnement photo et les premier et second groupes fonctionnels réagissent en formant une liaison entre l'espèce de capture d'analyte et l'espèce d'ancrage sur la surface de détection.
