L'invention divulgue un procédé de formation d'une cellule de batterie à l'aide d'un dispositif de formation pour des cellules de batterie de type poche, le procédé comprenant : une première étape de charge consistant à charger, par une unité de charge, une cellule de batterie ; une étape de traitement de trou consistant à former un trou de décharge dans une partie de poche de gaz de la cellule de batterie chargée ; une étape de décharge de gaz consistant à décharger le gaz interne généré pendant la charge, à travers le trou de décharge ; et une étape d'étanchéité consistant à sceller le trou de décharge.
