The method is executed by a service node of a cloud platform, and comprises: the service node determines a penetration path of a value component from a first penetration path set of a plurality of components so as to perform penetration testing on the cloud platform according to the penetration path of the value component, wherein the value component refers to a component that comprises data and/or a system resource on which a service of the cloud platform relies. Therefore, a penetration path of a value component which is prone to be attacked is selected in the cloud platform to perform penetration testing, and according to test data, a security weak point of the cloud platform can be accurately identified by using a penetration path containing the value component, so that the accuracy of penetration testing of the cloud platform is improved.
