The present invention relates to an underwater structure for protecting submerged archaeological sites having the particular feature of comprising a plurality of anchoring supports resting on the sea floor, which are joined to each other by cables defining the perimeter of the site and wherein the supports can be arranged equidistant from each other; a framework with vertical and horizontal ends joined to each other at nodes, wherein the vertical ends originate from the anchoring supports and the horizontal ends are joined to the endpoints of the vertical ends, and wherein the horizontal ends comprise depth floats creating a waterline; and at least one cover panel, wherein each panel is made up of a mesh or network of cables twisted together and wherein the panels are shackled to the waterlines. Estructura submarina de protección de yacimientos arqueológicos sumergidos, que tiene la particularidad de estar constituida por una pluralidad de soportes de fondeo apoyados en el lecho marino, que quedan unidos entre sí por unos cables delimitando el perímetro del yacimiento, y donde los soportes se pueden disponer equidistantes entre sí; un entramado de cabos verticales y horizontales unidos entre sí en unos nudos, donde los cabos verticales parten de los soportes de fondeo y los cabos horizontales quedan unidos a los extremos de los cabos verticales, y donde los cabos horizontales comprenden unos flotadores de profundidad generándose una línea de flotación; y al menos un panel de cobertura, donde cada panel está constituido por una malla o red de cables trenzados entre sí y donde los paneles se engrilletan a las líneas de flotación. La présente invenion concerne une structure sous-marine de protection de sites archéologiques immergés qui a la particularité d'être constituée d'une pluralité de supports d'ancrage reposant sur le plancher océanique, qui restent reliés entre eux par des câbles délimitant le périmètre du site, lesdits supports pouvant être disposés de manière équidistante entre eux; un treillis de cordages verticaux et horizontaux reliés entre eux sous forme de noeuds, lesdits cordages verticaux partant des supports d'ancrage et les cordages horizontaux restant reliés aux extrémités des cordages verticaux, les cordages horizontaux comprenant des flotteurs de profondeur qui forment une ligne de flottaison; et au moins un panneau de couverture, chaque panneau étant constitué d'un maillage ou réseau de câbles tressés entre eux, les panneaux se fixant et s'accrochant aux lignes de flottaison.
