Summary: | An energy-saving system and method for photovoltaic power generation refrigeration, relating to the technical field of photovoltaic power generation refrigeration. The system comprises: a solar receiving panel, a storage battery being connected to the solar receiving panel, and a refrigerating unit being connected to the storage battery; and a thermoelectric power generation sheet, the thermoelectric power generation sheet consisting of a plurality of PN-type semiconductors, the unconnected ends of the PN-type semiconductors being in contact with a working surface of the solar receiving panel, the connected ends of the PN-type semiconductors being in contact with a non-working surface of the solar receiving panel, and the thermoelectric power generation sheet being connected to the storage battery.
