This lighting device comprises a housing, a first light source, a first lens optical system, and a shielding part. The housing has a first opening. The first lens optical system includes at least one first lens positioned between a first emission section of the first light source and the first opening of the housing in the path of first light, and images the first light from the first emission part on a virtual image surface on the first opening side to emit the first light from the first opening. The shielding part has a second opening through which the first light L1 passes. Portion of the first light is incident on the shielding part. The angle formed at the first emission part by both outer-side light rays of the first light after passing through the second opening of the shielding part is smaller than the angle formed at the first emission part by both outer-side light rays of the first light before passing through the second opening of the shielding part.
