Summary:An aspect of the present application provides a method for generating simulated lateral views after orthodontic treatment, which is executed by a computer. The method comprises: calculating, on the basis of a three-dimensional digital model representing a target tooth layout, new positions of corresponding hard and soft tissue key points in lateral X-ray film taken before orthodontic treatment after the orthodontic treatment, and then performing, on the basis of the new positions of the soft tissue key points, image deformation processing on lateral views taken before orthodontic treatment to obtain simulated lateral views after the orthodontic treatment.
