The cylindrical battery cell comprises: a cylinder body, which is a conductor; a first end cap, which is a conductor; an insulator, which is sleeved at a circumferential edge of the first end cap, the first end cap being connected to the cylinder body in an insulated manner by means of the insulator, and the cylinder body and the first end cap enclosing a sealed accommodating space; and a jelly roll, which is arranged in the accommodating space, the jelly roll being directly electrically connected to the first end cap. By means of the technical solution of the present application, the problem in related technologies of a process for processing a cylindrical battery cell being complex can be effectively solved.
