The device comprises a first chamber that contains a solid adsorbent that is for adsorbing the specific gas component of the mixed gas, a second chamber that is for storing or using the specific gas component as desorbed from the solid adsorbent, and a pump that is provided between the first chamber and the second chamber and is used to transport the specific gas component from the first chamber to the second chamber, the pump also being used to feed the mixed gas into the first chamber.
