Une composition de traitement thérapeutique ophtalmique comprend une crème topique contenant un polymère d'acide acrylique réticulé, un copolymère acrylamide/acryloyldiméthyltaurate de sodium, et une quantité efficace d'un principe pharmaceutique actif (API) dispersé dans la crème topique. La composition thérapeutique ophtalmique et l'API sont formulés pour une application topique et le traitement de divers troubles tels que la sécheresse oculaire, la presbytie, la pression intraoculaire et la blépharite.
