Un AHP utilisé ou ses composants est converti en hydrocarbures de faible poids moléculaire à l'aide d'un réacteur HTT. Ces hydrocarbures de faible poids moléculaire produisent de l'éthylène, du propylène et d'autres produits chimiques lorsqu'ils sont introduits dans un vapocraqueur, qui peuvent être utilisés pour produire des composants recyclés de l'AHP ou d'un AHP entièrement recyclé.
