La présente invention concerne un séparateur pour une batterie secondaire au lithium et une batterie secondaire au lithium comprenant celui-ci. Le séparateur pour une batterie secondaire au lithium comprend : une base poreuse ; et une couche de revêtement qui est située sur au moins un côté de la base poreuse et comprend des particules de polyéthylène et de la céramique, la céramique présentant un rapport d'aspect de 1,5 à 3,0. 리튬 이차 전지용 세퍼레이터 및 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지를 제공하며, 상기 리튬 이차 전지용 세퍼레이터는 다공성 기재 및 상기 다공성 기재의 적어도 일면에 위치하고, 폴리에틸렌 입자와 세라믹을 포함하는 코팅층을 포함하고, 상기 세라믹은 종횡비가 1.5 내지 3.0이다.
