The invention relates to a process for the continuous preparation of a polymer product comprising a polymer based on acrylonitrile (AN) and one or more further monomer(s) (FM) copolymerizable with (AN), wherein the process leads to a polymer product with reduced content of propionitrile. The invention further relates to the polymer product, its use for the preparation of an article for food contact, child contact and/or medical applications, and a process for the preparation of said article. L'invention concerne un processus de préparation en continu d'un produit polymère comprenant un polymère à base d'acrylonitrile (AN) et un ou plusieurs autres monomères (FM) copolymérisables avec (AN), le processus permettant d'obtenir un produit polymère ayant une teneur réduite en propionitrile.
