The present invention relates to a system for providing motion sensor-based smart golf course round information, comprising: a portable device which is put into a wearing member worn on a part of a golfer's body, and which has a motion sensor and a global positioning system (GPS) loaded therein; a database for storing topography data of a golf course at which the golfer is positioned; and a server which receives, in real time, motion data of the portable device from the motion sensor so as to sense the golfer's swing, extracts the golf course topography data from the database, receives GPS position information about the golfer from the GPS, combines the golf course topography data and the GPS position information so as to correct the position of the portable device, and transmits, to the portable device, round information on the basis of swing information at the place in which the golfer is positioned.
