L'invention concerne un système dans lequel les maladies et/ou les troubles sont traités par stimulation électrique du nerf vague auriculaire, et un procédé de fonctionnement dudit système. Plus spécifiquement, l'invention concerne un système dans lequel la stimulation du nerf vague est activée par l'intermédiaire de la branche auriculaire dudit nerf avec les paramètres électriques possibles à régler en fonction des besoins du patient pour ainsi traiter les maladies et/ou les troubles, et un procédé de fonctionnement dudit système.
