Fire protection materials comprising an endothermic hydrate, an intumescent, a heat resistant fiber and an elastomeric polymer. In various embodiments, endothermic hydrate comprises aluminum trihydrate, the intumescent comprises expandable graphite, and the heat resistant fiber comprises poly(p-phenylene terephthalamide). The elastomeric polymer may be a polyorganosiloxane, such as a phenyl substituted polydimethyl siloxane. Also described are structures comprising such fire protection materials, e.g., separators and other battery containment structures such as for use with high density lithium batteries. L'invention concerne des matériaux de protection contre l'incendie comprenant un hydrate endothermique, un intumescent, une fibre résistante à la chaleur et un polymère élastomère.
