A method for evaluating the performance of a computer system is disclosed. The method for evaluating the performance of a computer system according to an embodiment of the present specification comprises: collecting a performance metric of the computing system; calling a poll function according to a predetermined period so as to request the state of the computing system; when multiple periodic snapshot durations have elapsed, acquiring a polling result obtained by counting the number of times of recording an event corresponding to the number of times the poll function has been called; and recording the polling result in a log file together with the performance metric.
