The present invention provides a vehicle-mounted information collection terminal device for collecting information about dangerous road objects, and an operation method therefor, the device comprising: a camera capable of capturing images of the area in front of the vehicle; a distance measurement sensor for measuring the separation distance to the point, in front of the vehicle, being captured by the camera; and a global positioning system (GPS) for collecting location information of the vehicle and measuring the current speed of the vehicle. The information collection terminal device can be used to support more efficient collection of information about dangerous road objects.
