Summary:An automated external defibrillator (1) includes: a sound generator (101) that outputs a timing sound expressing, by sound, a timing until the electric shock is delivered, and a warning sound expressing a state in which an internal capacitor in the automated external defibrillator has been charged with high voltage; and a sound controller (103B) that controls the sound generator, wherein the sound controller (103B) changes the warning sound in accordance with presence or absence of output of the timing sound. Un défibrillateur automatisé externe (1) comprend : un générateur de son (101) qui délivre un son de synchronisation exprimant, par un son, une synchronisation jusqu'à ce que la décharge électrique soit délivrée, et un son d'avertissement exprimant un état dans lequel un condensateur interne dans le défibrillateur automatisé externe a été chargé avec une tension élevée ; et un dispositif de commande de son (103B) qui commande le générateur de son, le dispositif de commande de son (103B) changeant le son d'avertissement en fonction de la présence ou de l'absence de sortie du son de synchronisation.
