Summary:The present invention relates to new cationic polymers, a synthesis process for preparing them from monourea diamine condensates and bifunctional ether derivatives, notably dihalogeno ether derivatives, and to the use of said new cationic polymers for surface treatment applications including, but not limited to, home and personal care applications as well as industrial and institutional cleaning applications. La présente invention se rapporte à de nouveaux polymères cationiques, à un procédé de synthèse pour leur préparation à partir de condensats de diamine et de monourée et de dérivés éthers bifonctionnels, notamment des dérivés éthers dihalogénés, et à l'utilisation desdits nouveaux polymères cationiques pour des applications de traitement de surface notamment, mais sans y être limitées, des applications d'entretien de la maison et de soins personnels, ainsi que des applications de nettoyage industrielles et institutionnelles.
