A coating composition comprising: (a) a polyurethane imide (PUI) resin, and (b) optionally a crosslinking material; wherein the coating composition is substantially free of pyrrolidone solvents. The invention extends to a package coated on at least a portion thereof with a coating, the coating being derived from said coating composition. L'invention concerne une composition de revêtement comprenant : (A) une résine de polyuréthane-imide (PUI), et (b) éventuellement un matériau de réticulation ; la composition de revêtement étant sensiblement exempte de solvants de pyrrolidone. L'invention se rapporte également à un emballage dont au moins une partie est enduite d'un revêtement, ledit revêtement étant dérivé de ladite composition de revêtement.
