L'invention concerne un ensemble moteur ou pompe de fond de trou qui comprend un stator et un rotor pouvant tourner à l'intérieur du stator. Le stator comprend un boîtier tubulaire et un revêtement déposé par pulvérisation à froid sur un intérieur du boîtier pour former des lobes de recouvrement sur une première longueur du stator. Le moteur ou la pompe de fond de trou peut être utilisé pour effectuer des opérations de fond de trou.
