Summary:Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and a device, the device comprising a display, a camera module disposed under the display, a memory, and a processor operatively connected to at least one of the display, the camera module, and the memory, wherein the processor is configured to receive a camera security configuration change, identify an application being executed, determine whether the identified application corresponds to a configured condition, and control display of a camera security pattern in a display area of the display, corresponding to the camera module, on the basis of the result of the determination.
