This output control device comprises: an acquisition unit which acquires content that indicates an image and sound; an estimation unit which, on the basis of the content and user information that pertains to a user wearing a transparent display device, estimates the user's degree of concentration with respect to the content; a display control unit which displays, on the transparent display device, the image indicated by the content; and a volume control unit which, on the basis of the degree of concentration, controls the volume of the sound indicated by the content.
