Summary:The present disclosure provides a memory management method for a media file. The method comprises: in response to a corresponding media file being acquired according to a media file playing request, generating an annular memory page structure for the media file, wherein the memory page structure comprises a push pointer, a recovery pointer and a plurality of memory pages, the push pointer and the recovery pointer point to different memory pages, media data of the media file is mounted on the memory pages, and each memory page forms an annular shape and can flow in a preset flow direction; and during a flow process of the memory page, pushing the media data mounted on the memory page to which the push pointer points, and replacing, in the memory page to which the recovery pointer points, the mounted media data with unmounted media data in the media file until the last media data in the media file is mounted in a memory structure.
