The method may further include identifying a region of the pixel array which does not meet a predetermined power level criterion, and when a region is identified, increasing a power level associated with at least one pixel of the region. Dans un exemple, un procédé de l'invention consiste à, avec un ensemble de circuits de traitement, recevoir des données d'image en demi-tons comprenant un réseau de pixels. Chaque pixel du réseau de pixels peut être associé à un niveau de puissance. Le procédé peut en outre consister à identifier une région du réseau de pixels qui ne satisfait pas un critère de niveau de puissance prédéterminé et, lorsqu'une région est identifiée, augmenter un niveau de puissance associé à au moins un pixel de la région.
