Headgear for securing a patient interface to patient, the headgear having a base layer forming a body of the headgear, and a headband region. The headband region has an outer engagement layer that at least partly overlaps a lower portion of the base layer with the outer engagement layer being fused to an underlying portion of the base layer. The headband region has areas of fused material and areas of unfused material, the non-fused areas at least in part defining connection zones for releasably securing connectors to the headgear. La présente invention concerne un casque pour fixer une interface patient à un patient, le casque ayant une couche de base formant un corps du casque, et une région de serre-tête. La région de serre-tête a une couche de mise en prise externe qui chevauche au moins partiellement une partie inférieure de la couche de base, la couche de mise en prise externe étant fusionnée à une partie sous-jacente de la couche de base. La région de serre-tête a des zones de matériau fondu et des zones de matériau non fondu, les zones non fusionnées définissant au moins en partie des zones de liaison pour fixer de manière libérable des connecteurs au casque.
