The invention relates to a fluid flow device (1), comprising a fluid flow channel (2) with a flow control device (3) having a valve member (4) and a valve seat (5), wherein in a closed position (I) the valve member rests against the valve seat for preventing fluid flow and wherein in an open position the valve member is positioned away from the valve seat for allowing fluid flow, wherein the valve member or the valve seat comprises a sealing portion (6) for providing a reversible and leak-tight seal between the valve member and the valve seat in the closed position, wherein the sealing portion is provided with a non-stick layer (7) for preventing sticking of the sealing portion to the valve seat or the valve member in the closed position, wherein the non-stick layer comprises one or more discontinuities (8, 8a).
