Disclosed are a display device and an operation method therefor according to embodiments. The disclosed display device comprises: a display; a communication interface; a memory for storing one or more instructions; and a processor for executing the one or more instructions stored in the memory. Upon confirming that a first audio input/output device and a second audio input/output device to which audio data is to be output using a Bluetooth communication protocol are connected, and upon confirming that different Bluetooth communication profiles are used for Bluetooth communication for outputting the audio data to the first audio input/output device and the second audio input/output device, the communication interface is controlled such that the audio data to be output to one of the first audio input/output device and the second audio input/output device is output with a delay for a predetermined time period by using a synchronization buffer so as to synchronize the audio data to be output to the first audio input/output device and the audio data to be output to the second audio input/output device.
