The foreign matter removal device according to one aspect of the present invention removes foreign matters included in fluid within a pipe using a rotational flow in a trapping part and comprises an inflow part, a separating part, and an outflow part. The inflow part allows fluid to flow into the trapping part. The separating part has a cylindrical structure and separates the fluid from the inflow part into internal fluid, which is a rotational flow flowing inside the cylindrical structure, and external fluid, which is a rotational flow flowing outside the cylindrical structure. The outflow part allows the external fluid separated by the separating part to flow out of the trapping part.
