A guide arm for a drilling rig includes a base connected to a rig floor, a lower assembly pivotally coupled to the base, and an upper assembly pivotally coupled to the lower assembly and including a guide arm having a means for guiding a tubular, wherein the lower assembly is configured to pivot about at least one axis relative to the base, wherein the upper assembly is configured to pivot about at least one axis relative to the lower assembly, and wherein the upper assembly is configured to be rotated relative to the rig floor.
