The method comprises: obtaining sensor data acquired by at least one top view sensor; processing the sensor data; and positioning the electronic device according to the processed sensor data. Or, the method comprises: acquiring a current pose and depth data in at least one preset direction of a robot; determining a feature point cloud on the basis of the depth data; determining an obstacle score of the feature point cloud in a preset global grid map, wherein the preset global grid map is formed on the basis of a historical point cloud; and optimizing the current pose according to the obstacle score to determine positioning information of the robot.
