An ophthalmological surgical instrument (10) comprises a hollow body (11) having an oblong shape, a cutting assembly (20) comprising at least one arm (22) and at least one cutting element (24), wherein said at least one arm (22) is pivotally hinged on a base (30) stabilized to the body (11) and adapted to be placed in rotation in cooperation with a toothed rack (40) slidingly arranged with respect to said base (30) and apt to engage with at least one pinion gear (25) arranged along the axis of rotation and integral with said at least one arm (22), wherein said rack (40) is apt to be manually and slidingly operated by the user. L'invention concerne un instrument chirurgical ophtalmologique (10) comprenant un corps creux (11) de forme oblongue, un ensemble de coupe (20) comprenant au moins un bras (22) et au moins un élément de coupe (24), ledit au moins un bras (22) étant articulé de manière pivotante sur une base (30) stabilisée sur le corps (11) et adaptée pour être placée en rotation en interaction avec une crémaillère (40) disposée de manière coulissante par rapport à ladite base (30) et apte à venir en prise avec au moins un pignon (25) disposé le long de l'axe de rotation et solidaire dudit au moins un bras (22), ladite crémaillère (40) étant apte à être actionnée manuellement et de manière coulissante par l'utilisateur.
