Summary: | The present invention relates to a biocidal heat and moisture exchange filter for medical ventilator equipment that comprises cellulose polymer fibres impregnated with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs). The heat and moisture exchange filter can be used in intubated patients receiving artificial ventilation in anaesthesiology and intensive care, and allows for robust exchange, which is fundamental for protecting against infections caused by nosocomial cross-contamination by microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, yeast and viruses. La présente invention concerne un filtre échangeur de chaleur et d'humidité à activité biocide pour équipements médicaux de ventilation, comprenant des fibres polymères de cellulose imprégnées de nanoparticules d'argent (AgNP). Le filtre échangeur de chaleur et d'humidité peut être utilisé sur des patients intubés sous ventilation artificielle en anesthésiologie et en thérapie intensive et permet un remplacement robuste, utilité fondamentale pour assurer une protection contre les infections de contamination croisée nosocomiales causées par des micro-organismes, tels que des bactéries, des champignons, des levures et des virus. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation du filtre échangeur de chaleur et d'humidité à activité biocide ainsi que l'utilisation de nanoparticules d'argent.
A presente invenção trata de filtro trocador de calor e umidade com atividade biocida para equipamentos médicos de ventilação que compreende fibras poliméricas de celulose impregnadas com nanopartículas de prata (AgNPs). O filtro trocador de calor e umidade pode ser usado em pacientes intubados sob ventilação artificial em anestesiologia e terapia intensiva e permite uma substituição robusta, utilidade fundamental para proteção contra infecções de contaminação cruzada nosocomiais causadas por microrganismos, tais como bactérias, fungos, leveduras e vírus. A invenção trata ainda do método de preparação do filtro trocador de calor e umidade com atividade biocida e uso de nanopartículas de prata. |
