The computing device may determine a combination of a carrier frequency and the modulation frequency to produce the haptic effect. The computing device may drive the haptic device according to the combination of the carrier frequency and the modulation frequency to output a vibration pattern associated with the haptic effect. Selon l'invention, un dispositif informatique peut déterminer un effet haptique à produire par un dispositif haptique du dispositif informatique. Le dispositif informatique peut sélectionner, au moins en partie sur la base de l'effet haptique, une fréquence de modulation.
