Disclosed is a display device comprising: a display which displays a first content; a memory which stores one or more instructions; and a processor which executes the one or more instructions stored in the memory, wherein the processor: acquires information on the first content by analyzing the first content; acquires user tracking information by tracking a user watching the first content; determines whether a trigger condition is satisfied, on the basis of at least one of the information on the first content and the user tracking information; and if the trigger condition is satisfied, controls a communication unit to transmit a second content, which is created on the basis of the first content, to a projector connected to the display device.
