Provided is an organometallic complex which contributes to substantial improvements in the luminous color and luminous efficiency of an organic electroluminescent device. An organic electroluminescent device according to the present invention comprises: a first electrode; a second electrode; one or more organic layers disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode; and a light emission layer, wherein the light emission layer comprises an organometallic complex represented by chemical formula 1 of the present invention.
