Summary: | Disclosed in the present invention is a method for measuring the content of sugar in pumpkins by means of a near infrared spectrum instrument. The method comprises the following steps: measuring a content of sugar in a sample by means of HPLC, analyzing the sample by means of the near infrared spectrum instrument, collecting the spectrum, and combining data measured and obtained by means of HPLC, so as to obtain the result of the content of sugar in the sample. The present invention, by means of Fourier transform near infrared spectroscopy, modeling and model correction, can accurately measure the contents of fructose, sucrose and glucose in pumpkins, provides a rapid and accurate route for identifying the quality of pumpkins and can be used for on-site measurement, provides a convenient test means for identifying superior varieties, and provides technical support for the quality breeding of pumpkins.
