Abstract Disclosed is an electronic device comprising at least one sensor, a communication circuit, a memory, and a processor operatively coupled to the at least one sensor, the communication circuit, and the memory, wherein the processor is configured to: check the internal temperatures of the electronic device through the at least one sensor; provide internal temperature data related to the internal temperatures of the electronic device to an external device; receive, from the external device, a surface temperature prediction model for predicting a surface temperature of the electronic device; predict the surface temperature of the electronic device on the basis of the surface temperature prediction model and information related to a module location stored in the memory of the electronic device; and select at least one heat source which enters heating control, from among a plurality of modules of the electronic device, on the basis of the predicted surface temperature. Various other embodiments understood from the specification are also possible.
