Summary: | A method and an apparatus that utilizes a flow-through processing and embedding technique for rapidly embedding cells is provided. A microwave heating process using a cooling system is utilized to keep the reagent and the tissue samples at a predefined temperature during the process. This flow-through processing maximizes the efficiency of cell recovery and of extractions during embedding, thereby decreasing the amount of cellular sample required, minimizing the amount of time for processing, and minimizing the amount of reagents needed for embedding.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil qui font appel à une technique de traitement et d'inclusion en flux continu pour inclure rapidement des cellules. Un processus de chauffage par micro-ondes faisant appel à un système de refroidissement est utilisé pour maintenir le réactif et les échantillons de tissus à une température prédéfinie pendant le processus. Ce traitement en flux continu maximise l'efficacité de la récupération des cellules et des extractions pendant l'inclusion, diminuant ainsi la quantité d'échantillons cellulaires requise, réduisant au minimum le temps de traitement et la quantité de réactifs nécessaires à l'inclusion. |
