The submatrices are then applied to the image data to generate a plurality of halftone patterns. Est décrit un procédé dans lequel des données d'image à imprimer et une matrice de demi-teinte sont décrites. La matrice de demi-teinte est divisée en une pluralité de sous-matrices. La matrice de demi-teinte comprend un ensemble de valeurs, et chacune des sous-matrices comprenant un sous-ensemble des valeurs.
